Aims and Scope  

Alternancia - Journal of Education and Research is an academic publication sponsored by José Carlos Mariategui University, continuously issuing since July 2019. The journal is published biannually in January and July. Its primary objective is to promote the dissemination and analysis of international scientific research in Education and its diverse inter- and transdisciplinary fields, including psychology, pedagogy, early childhood education, primary education, secondary education, and higher education. The journal publishes various article types: original research, reviews, essays, and book reviews. It targets researchers, educators, and anyone interested in education and related disciplines. 

Alternancia - Journal of Education and Research holds ISSN-L (2710-0936) and ISSN (2710-0936) identifiers. The journal is digital exclusively with publications written in Spanish and accompanied by English abstracts to enhance international reach and accessibility. Each article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), ensuring unique identification and citation in other research.

Alternancia - Journal of Education and Research subjects all content to rigorous external peer review. This process follows a double-blind review system, adhering to guidelines established by the American Psychological Association (APA). This approach guarantees impartial, objective, and transparent evaluation, facilitating the inclusion of contributions in high-impact international databases, repositories, and indexes.
